Identifying Business Partners
 OATH
promotes the trading house sector through seminars and presentations showing
manufacturers how to increase their exports through trading houses. This
is one of several ways in which the Association contributes to the creation
of partnerships between trading houses and manufacturers (SME's).
OATH can identify trading houses by product, sector or region of
export through its internal database and also manufacturers through
Strategis database.
A network of experts
OATH is part of a network of industrial, manufacturing and economic development
officers. The network promotes awareness and understanding of the role
of trading houses while identifying business opportunities for trading
houses and manufacturers.
OATH's strength lies in the professionalism of its members. As a group,
they constitute a powerful web of interconnecting trade networks serving
Ontario manufacturers.
A national network
At the national level, OATH formed strategic alliances with major trade
associations to increase potential contacts for members with new trade
partners.
An international network
In addition, OATH members benefit from the Association's close ties with
Canadian embassies and consulates, Ontario delegations abroad, as well
as other Trading House associations around the world.
